First publication of Paash’s Loh-Katha

According to Gursharan Singh, Languages Dept of Punjab (Bhasha Vibhag) awarded Balraj Sahni the Shiromini Sahitkar Award in 1969.It was in the form of Rs 5000 cash.Balraj Sahni gave all that money to Gursharn Singh to use that money to encourage new writers.Balraj Sahni passed awaybefore the project could be launched. Gursharan Singh then set up Balraj sahni Yadgari Parkashan. The first book that it published was Paash’s Loh-Katha
